PARRAMOUNT returned from a 541-day absence when third at Stratford on his hurdling debut last month and with that outing under his belt, Charlie Longsdon's six-year-old can get his head in front. What A Steal showed plenty of ability in bumpers and he could fare even better over timber. Santos Blue finished fourth at Aintree on his sole start in a bumper and he's highly respected from the Dan Skelton yard.
Prediction : 1st Parramount 2nd What A Steal 3rd Santos Blue

Although he disappointed in a small field at Hexham in September, ABINGTON PARK looks the one to side with if he can return to his best form after wind surgery, and the presence of Brian Hughes in the saddle once again only enhances his claims. Family Pot returned to winning ways at Ludlow and a 2lb rise shouldn't prevent another bold showing. Bretney is also considered if stepping forward from his reappearance at Uttoxeter.
Prediction : 1st Abington Park 2nd Family Pot 3rd Bretney

The Paul Nicholls team has really hit top gear and DIXON COVE showed enough in France earlier this year to suggest she can make a winning start for the champion trainer. Cape Helles was a well-beaten third on her first start over obstacles at Market Rasen, but that looked a good race and she could fare much better with the experience under her belt. Cianciana made an encouraging start over hurdles at Sedgefield and might fare best of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Dixon Cove 2nd Cape Helles 3rd Cianciana

In this competitive contest, it may pay dividends to side with FAZAYTE, who shed the maiden tag in decisive style at Stratford. Although the seven-year-old has failed to fire over this sort of trip previously, his dam is a half-sister to Cyrname and he's expected to improve for it. The handicapper continues to loosen his grip on Valirann Gold and he's worth considering, while Prison Break completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Fazayte 2nd Valirann Gold 3rd Prison Break

HIGHSTAKESPLAYER brushed aside his rivals on his chasing debut over C&D, comfortably drawing clear up the run-in, and he gets the nod to defy his penalty and continue his ascendancy. There are plenty of dangers, though, including Ridgeway, who relished the switch to the larger obstacles when landing the spoils at Kempton. Sheldon arrives on the hunt for a second successive victory and also merits consideration.
Prediction : 1st Highstakesplayer 2nd Ridgeway 3rd Sheldon

An open contest in which marginal preference is for MISS JEANNE MOON. She finally broke her chasing duck when successful over 2m7f at Worcester and a 3lb higher mark may not be enough to stop her following up. Credo tries fences for the first time and is feared having previously run well fresh, while Poniente was fairly consistent last season and can also have a say in proceedings.
Prediction : 1st Miss Jeanne Moon 2nd Credo 3rd Poniente

CORNICELLO built on his seasonal debut to score by three-quarters of a length over this trip at Plumpton last month, and a 1lb higher mark seems lenient given the nature of that win. He looks capable of delivering another bold showing, but the booking of Harry Cobden for Maxcel is interesting and he could be a big danger on his handicap debut. Alghazaal returns to timber in first-time cheekpieces and is another of interest.
Prediction : 1st Cornicello 2nd Maxcel 3rd Alghazaal
