I know WAGGA WAGGA was turned over at odds-on when last seen at Newbury but he was just too keen that day and was given a lot to do out the back. He could never really land a blow and the track was favouring those ridden prominent with the winner making all. His win over further prior to that was impressive and he was also a wide margin winner at Pontefract before that too. Given time to get over that last disappointment there should be more to come from this son of Australia and stepping up to a mile and three-quarters for the first time he brings a lot of potential to the table. I’d actually have him favourite for this so he looks good value. Dubai Leader impressed up to a mile and a half at Kempton and looks the danger under a penalty. Mountain Road needed every yard of the two miles here to win last time so the drop back in trip is far from ideal.
