OUT THE GLEN pulled cleared with a subsequent dual scorer when winning at Huntingdon in March and a 7lb rise may not prevent a third successive victory on his seasonal debut this afternoon. Myburg may prove more effective now eased slightly in trip on a flatter track and is one to note with race-fitness on his side. Dash Of Blue returns after a 634-day absence, but this course winner shouldn't be ruled out on his chasing debut.

BOTTLE HILL makes both his chase and handicap debut in this contest and his opening mark could prove lenient on this first start for the Stuart Coltherd yard. Marta Des Mottes didn't appear to stay the 2m4f over hurdles at Uttoxeter last month and may prove more competitive with her attentions now switched to fences on this drop in distance. Blazer's Mill has been given a chance by the handicapper and may enjoy the change of scenery on this stable debut.

Alan King has a midas touch with his horses that switch codes and it would come as no surprise to see him have TYING THE KNOT primed to make a smooth transition to the hurdles scene. Balgowan and I Have A Voice are both open to improvement in this sphere but they only set a modest standard for the selection to aim for on his NH bow.

SERMANDO bounced back to form with a big run when third at Chepstow last month and, off the same mark, Jonjo O'Neill's eight-year-old should go close again. Supreme Yeats is still unexposed, so he's likely to get involved if building on his second at Southwell last time. Boomtime Banker comes here in pursuit of the hat-trick and, off only 4lb higher than her latest win, she could be hard to keep out of the frame.
