A three-time winner last season, Foster'sisland can also have a say in proceedings.

XCITATIONS was an impressive winner when making all at Leicester in January and looks to have conditions to suit here. Karl Philippe is an obvious contender having won twice over fences already and could prove to be the main threat to the selection. Zanza was plying his trade over both hurdles and fences last season and, if putting his best foot forward, he's entitled to be in the shake-up.

Throne Hall was smart performer on the level and made a decent start to life over obstacles when scoring at Uttoxeter in September. Fruit N Nut was a good bumper performer and looked decent when last seen winning at Bangor over 13 months ago.

Fransham was narrowly denied over course and distance last month and can go well in his bid to gain compensation this afternoon, despite having to give weight to all of his rivals. However, TOO FRIENDLY put in a promising display on his seasonal return at Chepstow last month and he remains unexposed over hurdles. Gaelik Coast and Risk D'Argent are others to consider in an open event.

This looks like another good opportunity for the unexposed and in-form BIG CHANGES. He has won his last two starts in a pleasing manner and seemed to relish every yard when scoring over this distance at Ayr 19 days ago. Others to consider are Best Trition, who represents an in-form Olly Murphy yard and is expected to be suited by the switch to fences, while Sigurd has a good record here and is also worthy of consideration.
