There are some nice types lining up here but at the prices I think FENNOR CROSS is the clear value. He did well on the Flat and caught the eye on debut in this sphere when third to Hubrisko at Galway. He stuck to the task but clearly lacked experience so it was good to see him win convincingly over C&D last month. He came 6 and a half lengths clear at the line so that was a really promising run. This is obviously a lot tougher but he is open to plenty of improvement and he could upset a few here. Springwell Bay is a nice horse too and impressed at Carlisle but the second Iorens has been turned over again albeit narrowly so I think he might need to step up to win this. Iberico Lord is obviously a nice prospect on paper but this race usually goes to a horse that has experience on side and he is short enough in the betting.
