A 13lb rise will demand more that is for certain but the way BRANSON MISSOURI has been winning she may well still prove ahead of the handicapper. Her winning run started back in the summer at Worcester where she stayed on well to beat an in-form mare in the shape of Jaunty Soria. Given a bit of time after she returned with an emphatic 22-length romp at Worcester again last month. She was always going best and took it up easily pulling clear impressively. The penny really looks to have dropped for her now and with further improvement a distinct possibility I think she can bring up the hat-trick. Gerico Ville represents a yard on fire in Chris Gordon and is still unexposed so could be the danger if improving. He was due to run at Plumpton yesterday but comes here instead.
15:15 Hereford
Joe Tizzard has made an encouraging start to the training ranks saddling his first Cheltenham winner at the weekend. He has a good chance of another winner at Hereford on Tuesday in the shape of the likeable PRINCESS MIDNIGHT. She won by 7 lengths over track and trip last month and with Harry Kimber in the saddle again claiming a valuable 5lb she should be hard to beat once more. I know she has gone up 8lb but that looks deserved as she is clearly in rude health. Ballybeen is a maiden over hurdles and the fact he is second favourite here on chase debut tells you the lack of quality on show. Kestrel Valley was improving steadily over fences last season and might pose a greater threat to the selection. Jobesgreen Lad best of the rest but can lack fluency.
