Ygritte is the only one of her rivals to have raced under Rules and was a well-beaten third on her racecourse debut at Wetherby last month. The Dan Skelton-trained filly is entitled to improve for that experience and merits consideration. The market should no doubt prove informative for the other three runners, with a chance taken on MARSHELLA. Her stable have enjoyed a fantastic season so far with a small amount of runners and she may be up to this challenge. All About Me may have more toe than Citizen Jane.

SABBATHICAL should have stripped fitter for his seasonal return over hurdles at Ffos Las last month. The seven-year-old won last year's renewal off a 2lb higher mark, so another bold bid is anticipated. Gouet Des Bruyeres could pose the biggest threat to the selection now returned to a more suitable distance, with Toby Wynne good value for his 5lb claim. Templier is an interesting runner on his stable debut and the change of scenery may see an improved effort.

CAMULUS has to give weight away all round, but, as a half-brother to Irish National winner Freewheelin Dylan, he may have the stamina required for this trip after running on into third over shorter at Ascot. Secret Trix also stayed on late on his return at Perth and, with the Olly Murphy stable in good form, he could mount a challenge, while Doireann may be of interest on his first start following wind surgery.

Sorbet won this last season and is back for more, but she has had four starts since without success and hasn't been seen since May. She could go well. but preference is for PRINCESS T, who won with plenty in hand last time out at Hereford and may be able to shrug off her 7lb rise in the handicap. Sawpit Sienna has to race from 5lb out of the weights, but is yet to be beaten here and she could surprise a few of these.

Maria Magdalena has hit the top three on her last six starts with a Hereford third last month on her debut over fences and with cheekpieces added, she could go well if they have the desired affect. Prime Pretender ran on well over two miles when second at Ffos Las and could also be a player now, but a risk is taken on CONCEROE. A course winner over hurdles, he found three miles too far here last month, but may be a different proposition over this more suitable trip.

Roger Varian has a rare runner in the NH sphere and is taken to win the finale with SHINJI, who is a son of the trainer's 2014 St Leger hero Kingston Hill. Aiden Coleman looks a positive jockey booking and the three-year-old may take advantage of the weight-for-age allowance. Olly Murphy has started the season in fine form and must always be respected in bumpers, so his 90,000 euro purchase Damarta looks the chief threat. Any market support for Gaye Legacy, who is a daughter of Flemensfirth, may be worth noting.
