SURE TOUCH regained the winning thread when battling on well at Chepstow last month under this rider, who is able to claim a valuable 10lb allowance which just tips the scales in his favour. The biggest threat may come from Spike Jones, who caught the eye when staying on well to grab third on his seasonal reappearance. Balkotic appeared to improve for the first-time visor at Hexham in September when making all and is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Sure Touch 2nd Spike Jones 3rd Balkotic

THE CHURCHILL LAD looks very hard to oppose having bolted up at Cartmel in summer on his hurdles debut. He was just headed late on at Sedgefield just over a fortnight ago and this looks another good opportunity. Receiving a stone from the selection, Eclairant Le Monde looks the next best but was put in her place by the selection at Cartmel. After that she finished fourth at Sedgefield behind Scriptwriter, who has won again since. Fiftyshadesaresdev is worth noting too.
Prediction : 1st The Churchill Lad 2nd Eclairant Le Monde 3rd Fiftyshadesaresdev

Although he's conceding weight all round, SNOWY CLOUDS still makes plenty of appeal having got off the mark at the first time of asking over the larger obstacles at Market Rasen. It was too early to say if Bolsover Bill would have won when he came to grief four out at Plumpton recently, but he was certainly going well enough and is a worthy contender. Dual C&D winner Relkadam can't be discounted either.
Prediction : 1st Snowy Clouds 2nd Bolsover Bill 3rd Relkadam

This race appears to revolve around Donald McCain's MASKED CRUSADER, who tackles fences for the first time after successive wins over hurdles earlier in the year. This is the six-year-old's first appearance in handicap company and this opening mark of 120 doesn't appear likely to be out of reach. Mac Suibhne is feared most based on the form of his penultimate run where he scored with ease over 2m5f in a match at Wetherby, while High Moon heads the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Masked Crusader 2nd Mac Suibhne 3rd High Moon

CARTONNE has shaped as though he is more than capable of landing a race of this nature and this looks like a nice opportunity to go one better than his last three starts. Imperial Merlin has his first go over timber after a decisive success in a bumper at Sedgefield and he looks like a promising debutant, while Fenna's Loss completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Cartonne 2nd Imperial Merlin 3rd Fennas Loss

MOROZOV COCKTAIL is an appealing option for a race of this nature as he's adapted well to the chasing game and starts his new campaign off just 3lb higher than his all-the-way success at Newcastle in April. The nature of this track lends itself well to his front-running style and he could be hard to peg back in this company. Ladronne and the veteran Manwell are also worthy of consideration.
Prediction : 1st Morozov Cocktail 2nd Ladronne 3rd Manwell

Having swapped hands for 72,000 pounds after comfortably winning an Irish point-to-point in March, JET OF DREAMS is fancied to make an immediate impact now he makes his debut under Rules. The selection holds a solid jumping pedigree and is the most appealing candidate. Wotyoudunnow Buddy and Moonshine Spirit both have scope and are others to consider, while any support in the betting for Rebecca Menzies' debutant Boomslang would also be noteworthy.
Prediction : 1st Jet Of Dreams 2nd Moonshine Spirit 3rd Boomslang
