The Gary Moore-trained gelding gets on well with Ana Gibson and her 7lb claim is a useful asset for a race of this nature. Always Fearless and Tyrese Cameron have also struck up a good working relationship and he's another worth considering. Super Den is unexposed on the all-weather and he completes the shortlist.

As a half-brother to a winning miler, stepping up in trip is expected to suit the unexposed DOWNTOWN DUBAI and he is fancied to get off the mark on only his second start in a handicap. The Roger Varian inmate was only just denied at Brighton last month and she may go one better if keeping a straighter path, with the Hugo Palmer charge next best. Alrteeme boasts the most attractive pedigree of those making their racecourse debut and it will be interesting to see what the betting makes of her chances.

Beach Buoy merits respect after winning over C&D on his racecourse debut last month and he's likely to be on the premises once more despite shouldering a 7lb penalty. However, the Clive Cox-trained BURENA made an encouraging first appearance when finishing fourth on the turf at Leicester and may have improved enough to take this. Shamalama and Mr Rascal cannot be written off either.

Titian ran on well to win over shorter at York last month and, as that was his first start after wind surgery, he may go on from that to better things. Picual is another who should appreciate a step up in trip after her Newbury second last month, but they may both struggle to cope with GLOUCESTERSHIRE. He ran on well over 10 furlongs on his first start since returning from America and, after a gelding operation and with nominal improvement, he could prove hard to beat.

NOBLE ORDER has clearly had his issues after just the three starts, including a C&D win. That success here was back in January but he has had wind surgery and a gelding operation since, so looks the one to be on with his stable in good form. Bear Force One has scored off this mark on the turf and has to be considered despite carrying top weight, while Top Secret ran on well to win over shorter here last time and is worth another try at a mile.

Magicinthemaking has won here three times, all off this mark or higher. He can go close if he bounces back from a poor run last month, but preference is for OWER STARLIGHT. Placed on his last five starts including a win over the Chelmsford mile last month, he breaks from stall two and that may help him get back to winning ways. Vitesse Du Son was beaten less than a length at Brighton off this mark in August and is another to take seriously.
