I do think this is a case of there being value in a favourite. SECRET SHE KEEPS missed out by just a nose on her reappearance at Fairyhouse last month and she was only cruelly headed in the final strides. They came a country mile clear from the rest so it was good to see her go one better impressively at Thurles last time. She still made mistakes that day and understandably too given it was just her second start over the larger obstacles. She is improving all the time and now going handicapping there should be more to come. She already sets the standard and will improve so I can see her going off shorter than the 7/2 on offer at the time of writing. Fakeira is a talented type and he has run some good races over fences already but I feel he needs more even in first-time blinkers. I think Majavango could be a greater danger but he did suffer a heavy fall at Naas so needs to bounce back.
