Paul Nicholls' other runner, Quel Destin, hasn't been seen for the best part of two years but has gone well fresh before.

Glimpse Of Gala has been a consistent customer of late and demands the utmost respect after staying on for second at Aintree last time. Preference, however, is for VICTORIAS PEAK, who brushed aside her rivals on only her second start over hurdles at Hexham in September. A mark of 120 may underestimate her ability and the unexposed daughter of Fame And Glory gets the nod. Terresita recorded a career-best effort when landing the spoils at Kempton in April and she also merits consideration.

After an emphatic win in the Scilly Isles at Sandown, the Venetia Williams-trained gelding put in a stellar jumping performance to land the spoils at the Cheltenham Festival and he can hit the ground running on seasonal reappearance. Saint Calvados signed off his latest campaign with an impressive win at Sandown and he rates the most immediate danger, while Coole Cody can follow them home.

All eyes will be on the highest rated hurdler in Britain and Ireland as CONSTITUTION HILL makes his seasonal reappearance after bursting onto the scene last term. The son of Blue Bresil topped off his unbeaten campaign with an emphatic win in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle, putting 22 lengths between himself and his next best rival, and he is expected to repeat that feat today. Brewin'upastorm unseated Sean Bowen at the first obstacle at Aintree earlier this month but he may be able to follow the favourite home here, while Goshen gets the nod to claim third.

This contest seems to revolve around dual Grade 1 winner EDWARDSTONE, who is having his first run of the season after a sparkling campaign last winter. The Arkle winner will have to overcome a mark of 161, and give away a lot of weight to some in-form rivals, but Alan King's superstar chaser has the class in this field and he appears to be the one to beat. Boothill is likely to pose the biggest danger and Jonathan Burke's mount won more easily last time than his winning distance of three-quarters of a length suggests over the extended 2m at Newton Abbot. So Scottish looks best of the rest.

Immortal makes his racecourse debut for the powerful combination of Nicky Henderson and Nico de Boinville and warrants respect, but the vote goes to WAY OUT. Syd Hosie's five-year-old was successful in a point-to-point in March before a very pleasing debut under Rules where he was second over C&D. He's likely to have improved for that outing and thus commands respect. Paul Nicholls saddles a newcomer in the form of Thames Water, who is a full-brother of Minella Melody, while Odin's Quest won a bumper on debut at Huntingdon in January and is another to note.
