Monty's Award arrives in fine form after achieving wins at both Fontwell and Huntingdon last month and a 5lb rise is unlikely to prevent the veteran from remaining competitive. However, LOUP DE MAULDE makes slightly more appeal after finishing third in what looked a warm contest at Hereford in October and there could be more to come from the Robbie Llewellyn inmate over these staying distances. The consistent Cluain Aodha may chase the aforementioned pair home.
