Splashing Out ran well on Wexford debut and while badly hampered at the first, finished nicely. Atimetodream was ninth in the Wexford race, having also been hampered at the first, and is well bred so can improve. Showurappreciation has a good flat pedigree, being out of a Galileo mare but is best watched. Opposite Ends, a E16,000 foal, is from the family of Cousin Vinny but will do well to win on debut. Falvio won twice in Poland and once in France.

ITSWHATUNITESUS finished 1.25 lengths ahead of Embassy Gardens in a Grade 2 bumper last February and has a race-fitness and experience edge. His hurdles debut, behind a smart winner, at Galway was encouraging and while his jumping was far from perfect, should improve. Embassy Gardens has a similar level of ability and while absent since February, should nonetheless be ready and could win with a slick round of jumping. Long absent Minella Majestic has the standout piece of form, having defeated Grand National winner Noble Yeats to win a Ballindenisk point-to-point in December 2019. He was withdrawn from a sale the following month, presumably having met a setback, and while clearly capable, is best watched on reappearance. Newcomer Atacanter was a E6,000 yearling and is the first runner from an unraced mare.

THE NIFFLER comes out of hibernation but is suited by testing conditions, this distance and remains unexposed. Progressive, he finished third over course and distance in April with the runner-up winning at Cheltenham last weekend. Navigator Jack is consistent and suited by conditions but looks within the handicapper's grasp. Buttons And Bows was a course and distance winner on debut in 2018 and while well held at Thurles in October, that was just four days after winning at Killarney so is forgiven, although might ideally prefer slightly further today. All Walks Of Life, out of a three-time bumper winner, is open to progression in handicaps but runs on testing ground for the first time and makes her reappearance. Dancing Jeremy's form is over further while top weight Ney runs in his first handicap. Makfils debuts for new connections and is a 10-race maiden over hurdles.

CLODY VALLEY won easily over this distance recently. Most of his form is on good ground but having won on soft at Fairyhouse, is possibly better suited by this easy surface and while 10lb higher, his rider claims 7lb (against 5lb at Fairyhouse) and is also rated 102 over fences. Heavy-ground performer Missiee continues to progress but is 8lb higher than when winning at Wexford, when also ridden by a 4lb claimer. San Salvador was an unlucky loser of a Grade 3 race in October 2021 but was well held on handicap hurdle debut in July and reappears. Un Des Flos won at Nantes on debut last November and while he has solid form, was well held on his latest run and reappears against race-fit rivals on handicap debut. Halsafari ran well here recently while Riaan has maiden form and makes his handicap debut. Thousand Tears was a market drifter when running no race at Cheltenham seven days ago and couldn't be fancied.

DERRINROSS is very interesting following a lengthy absence. A dual Graded hurdle winner in 2018 when possessing a UK rating of 146, he has been allocated a 116 hurdle rating due to a huge absence, which allows him to contest this race. A chasing type, he might win on reappearance, aged 11. Another chasing type Monishter Are Mwee is rated 116 over hurdles, receives 7lb with a 3lb claimer, and is further helped by being race-fit. Similarly Martha Devine is rated 116 over hurdles, receives her 7lb allowance and should benefit from a recent run. Kalli's Quest drops in grade having unseated rider on her reappearance run on chase debut recently and was useful in the past. Native Gold likes testing ground but has a bit to find on hurdle ratings and unseated rider over fences recently. Jody Ted showed good form last year but doesn't have the selection's ability and is possibly best watched on reappearance.

DINOBLUE has a bit to find with Telmesomethinggirl on hurdles form but could improve over fences. The selection showed smart, if not high-class, form last season but is proven on testing ground and has the size to do well over fences. Telmesomethinggirl won the 2021 mares' novices hurdle at Cheltenham and holds today's rival Roseys Hollow on that form. She mightn't be ideally suited to testing ground but has point-to-point experience and will be well schooled. Roseys Hollow is a graded winner who has chase experience but hasn't run since January. Happy D'ex is race fit but might bump into a few too good.

ESPION DU CHENET is suited by soft ground and this distance. A seven-time winner, he beat Kildorrey to win at Punchestown in May and while well enough held on subsequent runs, wasn't beaten far at Down Royal recently. Kildorrery is a course and distance winner who is 2lb better off with the selection today but still has six lengths to find on Punchestown form and lacks a run. The Dara Man's best form is on good ground but was in contention when falling on soft at Limerick last month and should be competitive. Cusp Of Carabelli was well held on his runs this year but won from a 3lb higher mark at Thurles last year and is suited by conditions. Kitty Galore was second to capable mare Jeremys Flame in October but was well held here subsequently and fell at Clonmel. Stand Off beat Big Debates to win last March and both make their reappearances.
