BLOW YOUR WAD was a smart bumper performer last season, finishing fourth in Grade 2 company at Aintree, and he made a promising debut over hurdles when chasing home the smart Leave Of Absence at Ascot last month. A repeat of that performance alone, although he is entitled to progress, would make him tough to beat. Carrigdoun Boy may improve for his comeback fourth at Cheltenham and is respected, while Swapped and Lock Out are others to watch out for.

Course winner Samarrive was in the process of running a big race when falling two out on his fencing debut at Ascot and he should go close with a clear round of jumping here, but preference is for LAC DE CONSTANCE. Dan Skelton's charge starts his chasing career on the back of three hurdle victories and the 253-day absence isn't too much of a concern as he won first time out last term. Hudson De Grugy may have to settle for third.

A reproduction of that level of form would give him a big chance. LE CAMELEON made a winning seasonal debut at Warwick last month and a 5lb rise for that victory may not be enough to stop the Jane Williams-trained seven-year-old from going in again. Orrisdale ended his last campaign with back-to-back Hereford victories and it would be no surprise to see him improve significantly following his return to action at Market Rasen. Others to note are Dorking Lad and Striking A Pose.

MOLLY OLLYS WISHES looked as good as ever when accounting for Martello Sky to defend her crown in a Listed contest at Wetherby, having seen off Miranda 12 months previously. Dan Skelton's excellent servant has to concede weight all around but the fact she is proven over C&D is another string to her bow, and it may be that Miranda gives her the most to think about on her first go at three miles-plus.

Grivetana shaped well on her return at Newbury and is likely to figure along with American Gerry, who was a comfortable winner over C&D when last seen in April.
