A winner of his last two starts here over hurdles, HOLD ONTO THE LINE is fancied to take advantage of what looks like a feasible handicap mark on his chasing debut. He has had wind surgery, while the booking of Brian Hughes can only aid his cause, and he is preferred to recent C&D scorer Massini Man and Izzy's Champion, whose three career triumphs have all come at this track.
Prediction : 1st Hold Onto The Line 2nd Massini Man 3rd Izzys Champion

The Colin Bowe yard in Ireland is well known for producing some smart types and Inchydoney point-to-point winner BENTS HOLLOW could be another as she makes her debut under Rules for the Donald McCain yard. Aubis Walk arrives with a similar profile and is likely to improve for a promising effort at Perth in April. Tangiers can pick up the pieces if the first two falter.
Prediction : 1st Bents Hollow 2nd Aubis Walk 3rd Tangiers

Half Shot is bound to be popular following an impressive victory over fences at Sedgefield. The eight-year-old has done extremely well since joining the Iain Jardine yard but preference is still for IDILICO, who won over C&D in February off 8lb lower and has since gone in again at Perth. He may not be the most consistent, but is worth chancing. The relatively unexposed Kilbrainy can also have a say in proceedings.
Prediction : 1st Idilico 2nd Half Shot 3rd Kilbrainy

Lucinda Russell and Derek Fox teamed up to win this in 2020 with Mint Gold and they have a chance again with Diamond State, twice a winner over hurdles and second on his chasing debut at Hexham most recently. He can go well, but MONTE IGUELDO was a revelation when winning by 15 lengths at Huntingdon, despite some errors, and if he improves for the experience, he should prove hard to beat. Pitempton Power may prove best of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Monte Igueldo 2nd Diamond State 3rd Pitempton Power

Smart Lass has been racing on the Flat so won't lack for fitness ahead of her return to hurdles, and she warrants plenty of respect as the only C&D winner in the field. Preference, however, is for CUBAN CIGAR, who has been placed on his two starts this NH season and represents a stable in good form. Jackhammer could also go well after a solid fourth off 1lb higher at Kelso last month.
Prediction : 1st Cuban Cigar 2nd Smart Lass 3rd Jackhammer

My Strong Man made an encouraging return from the sidelines at Ayr, but he remains a maiden after 15 starts and needs to step up again. KISS MY FACE struck over shorter at Hereford, keeping on well, and if he gets the trip, an added 4lb from the handicapper may not stop a follow-up. Chanceanotherfive has won over C&D and could go well on his fourth start following close to two years off the track.
Prediction : 1st Kiss My Face 2nd Chanceanotherfive 3rd My Strong Man
