I know POSITIVE THINKER finished quite a way behind the winner when third at Wexford last month but he made a mistake late and stumbled on landing so he is better than that margin suggests. He goes handicapping now off a mark of just 92 and should definitely be making an impact here. He hasn’t had much luck as was brought down at Punchestown before that too and I expect there is plenty more improvement to come yet.

Hand Over Fist was only beaten narrowly into third at Tramore and looks the danger but he is around the same price so I’d much rather prefer the selection. At a big price Lake Chad might be worth backing to hit the frame as he fared best of those held up when fifth at Clonmel last time so that was a good effort and he might be doing some good late work. Huit Reflets is another one to note but does need to improve a fair bit as this is competitive.
