TIMEFORATUNE may not be the most straightforward as he showed at Exeter recently but he possesses plenty of ability and this should be another step in his progression. The form of Mamoon Star's most recent fourth in a Cheltenham bumper has worked out very well and he may provide the main threat to the selection, while Ooh Betty is another open to improvement.
Prediction : 1st Timeforatune 2nd Mamoon Star 3rd Ooh Betty

This can go the way of CAN YOU CALL, who was last seen scoring over fences at Catterick in February and should enjoy conditions on his return. Evan Williams looks to have found a very winnable contest and his form looks to be a level above the likes of I Shut That D'or, who can improve on his hurdles bow at Stratford. Tedwin Hills, who arrives with similar place claims, completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Can You Call 2nd I Shut That Dor 3rd Tedwin Hills

A couple of these arrive here in winning form, including Jet Of Magic, who has a 7lb penalty to overcome for an easy win at Hereford last week. That may not be the strongest form and preference is for I SPY A DIVA, who wasn't for catching here last time out and should be suited by going back up in trip. Maroochi didn't look to be done for when falling two out at Newton Abbott last month and he is another of interest.
Prediction : 1st I Spy A Diva 2nd Jet Of Magic 3rd Maroochi

HUELGOAT remains unbeaten over fences after four starts and appears to be progressing with each run. The Paul Nicholls-trained five-year-old hasn't had much competition to face in his last two starts but has barely come off the bridle and this looks another excellent opportunity. Minella Buster was still in with a chance when making a mistake at the last recently and may give the selection most to think about. Potters Venture looks another of interest.
Prediction : 1st Huelgoat 2nd Minella Buster 3rd Potters Venture

The Jonjo O'Neill partnership teamed up to win this race last year and look to hold strong claims again this time around courtesy of ITSO FURY. The five-year-old son of Fame And Glory has won both his starts over hurdles in impressive style and is tipped to continue on an upward trajectory. Irish Hill was narrowly denied on his seasonal reappearance having had a wind operation in the summer and looks the chief threat. Love Actually is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Itso Fury 2nd Irish Hill 3rd Love Actually

In this competitive contest it may pay dividends to side with OPENING BID on his return to the larger obstacles. The seven-year-old has shown glimpses of promise over fences and it would be no surprise if a mark of 102 underestimates his ability. Miladygrace gave a good account when third on chase debut and warrants plenty of consideration despite unseating at Ludlow last time out. Dindin recorded a gallant effort when second at Fontwell earlier this month and completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Opening Bid 2nd Miladygrace 3rd Dindin

15:50 Taunton

NO NO TONIC made all in emphatic style at Wincanton last time out and the eight-year-old can repeat that feat stepping up in trip. She put eight and a half lengths between herself and the second and it would be no surprise if a 7lb rise is not insurmountable. Cobbs Corner shed the maiden tag at Fakenham last time out and rates the most immediate danger off 4lb higher, while Mickyh completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st No No Tonic 2nd Cobbs Corner 3rd Mickyh
