I don’t usually back a horse off the back of a fall but OUR FOLLET was still travelling well when coming down at Bangor and if none the worse may well gain quick compensation here. He was heavily backed on debut and you’d have to think he would have taken a lot of beating if staying on his feet. The Likely Lad is well related being a sister to Tarquinius and he might be the danger to the selection but the market will likely prove informative. Solomoon finished second last on debut at Wetherby and is going to need to leave that well behind to figure. Cawthorne Cracker makes his debut for Oliver Greenall but you’d think he’ll be better over further in time and they will just be looking for an encouraging run first-time out. Ghyll Manor lacked fluency at Bangor in the race the selection fell in and is hard to recommend off the back of that.

I know we haven’t seen PRESENTING JEREMY for some 562 days now but he won in the style of a promising horse powering clear by 15 lengths at Worcester on debut over hurdles and is open to plenty of improvement now handicapping. He makes his reappearance in what looks to be a very winnable race and I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t go close. Venetia Williams has had a few winners now so Franco D’aunou will likely prove popular after going down just a nose at Fontwell last time. He should run well but the selection is armed with plenty of potential and I’d rather side with that. Trelawne won on debut at Exeter but then failed to live up to expectations on final start and might come on for the run. Anglers Crag pulled up behind Hillcrest at Haydock and needs to get back on track on reappearance here but another one who should do better for the outing.
