LARGO BAY wasn't beaten far in his bid to make it four wins from five starts over C&D last month and he is taken to bounce back in what looks a slightly easier contest. Mille Miglia is a leading player based on the pick of his form, as well as Bluenose Belle, who is very interesting on her first start for new connections. Spring Glow and Ward Castle can get involved as well.
Prediction : 1st Largo Bay 2nd Mille Miglia 3rd Bluenose Belle

This can go the way of CARIAD ANGEL, who must hold every chance if building on a career-best effort at Newcastle when second. She looks to have everything in her favour here apart from a wide draw, but she can still see off the likes of Clipsham La Habana, who has gone off short prices without winning the last twice, and Tephi, who has been runner-up on five of her last six starts.
Prediction : 1st Cariad Angel 2nd Clipsham La Habana 3rd Tephi

A tentative vote goes to SWEET BERTIE, who was a determined winner at Lingfield on his penultimate start and has gone close over C&D in the past. Dourado is another who has form around here, while Inclement Weather may not need to improve much on a one-length defeat over C&D last month. Completing the shortlist are the likes of Evasive Power, Flagman and Haseef.
Prediction : 1st Sweet Bertie 2nd Inclement Weather 3rd Dourado

HOPEMAN HARBOUR got off the mark at Chelmsford last month and he posted another creditable effort when finishing fourth at Yarmouth five days later. He's 6lb higher on his return to the all-weather, but, having had just three starts on a synthetic surface, he could have more to offer. Opticality has gone well here previously and he could be boosted by the addition of first-time headgear. Lordsbridge Girl and Eagle Eyed Freddie ought to be thereabouts too.
Prediction : 1st Hopeman Harbour 2nd Opticality 3rd Lordsbridge Girl

SLIPOFTHEPEN holds a Derby entry and, drawn nicely in stall six, the son of Night Of Thunder is fancied to make the perfect start to his racing career under James Doyle. Star Ahoy cost 140,000gns as a yearling and he could be involved for the William Haggas team. Ray Of Colours merits a place on the shortlist, as does Yasmina, who should have learned plenty from her debut earlier this month.
Prediction : 1st Slipofthepen 2nd Star Ahoy 3rd Ray Of Colours

Runners from the Andrew Balding yard often come on for their initial racecourse experience and that could be the case with SCINTILLANTE. The son of Roaring Lion made a pleasing debut at Newbury last month and improvement looks likely. Postman's Park must be of interest for Godolphin, along with Strandonthegreen. Florida and Land Legend are others to note in what could be a warm novice event.
Prediction : 1st Scintillante 2nd Postmans Park 3rd Strandonthegreen

AUSSIE BANKER finished a decent fourth on his most recent run over this C&D and the fact he retains the mark from that run is encouraging. He remains relatively unexposed and the booking of William Buick has to merit a lot of respect, so he narrowly shades the vote from Aguaplano, who has gone up 2lb for a cosy victory at this track in October. A first-time visor could see Piece Of History build on his most recent effort at Chelmsford.
Prediction : 1st Aussie Banker 2nd Aguaplano 3rd Piece Of History

SISKANY drops considerably in grade following a distant third in a Group 1 at Munich and can bounce back to winning form at this level. He caught the eye when scoring by two and a quarter lengths at Newmarket in Listed company in September and is expected to be bang there. Stablemate Wild Crusade lost little in defeat when finishing half a length behind Warren Point over this C&D last month and is feared most ahead of Belloccio.
Prediction : 1st Siskany 2nd Wild Crusade 3rd Belloccio

20:20 Kempton

Shadowfax remains unexposed and would be dangerous to dismiss given the stable he represents, but a switch to the Flat could see SASHENKA build on a pleasing stable debut for Dominic Ffrench Davis. Her last outing on the level saw her just denied victory by a nose at York and she is only rated 2lb higher than that, so she has to merit a lot of respect. Pons Aelius drops in class from his latest outing and is another to bear in mind.
Prediction : 1st Sashenka 2nd Shadowfax 3rd Pons Aelius
