HIGHLAND CHARGE would prefer deeper ground, but this chasing debutant brings strong hurdling form to the contest. He won his last two races in that sphere including a Grade 3 novice hurdle at Naas in March. Telmesomethinggirl has been keeping very good company over flights and was successful in the Grade 2 mares' novices' hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival last season. She failed to complete in her last couple of starts, but this former point-to-point winner is likely to be heavily involved. Glengouly makes this a very competitive beginners' chase. He wasn't at his best when last seen at Punchestown in April, however, he has two hurdle victories to his name and is another winner between the flags who could have a big say on his first crack at racecourse fences.
Prediction : 1st Highland Charge 2nd Telmesomethinggirl 3rd Glengouly

FILON D'OUDAIRIES lost out by the minimum margin over C&D at the start of the month and could get compensation here. Another 7lb claimer, Charlie O'Dwyer, has been booked so he is on a more than competitive mark. Drying ground is very much in his favour. Cahirdown Boy looked held in second when falling at the penultimate fence over further in Limerick. That form got a boost, though, when the winner followed up in a novice handicap chase at Naas. Dreamsrmadeofthis didn't trouble the judge on two previous visits to this track, but she arrives in much better form this time after a runner-up berth at Tramore in October.
Prediction : 1st Filon DOudairies 2nd Cahirdown Boy 3rd Dreamsrmadeofthis

DARASSO is race fit after a fair third in a Grade 2 chase at Clonmel a fortnight ago. Prior to that, he was a more than decent third in the Kerry National at Listowel in September, and runner-up in the Galway Plate in July. He is very much at home on better ground. Cilaos Emery won this race last year off a break, so he is a significant threat. He didn't win any of his subsequent races last season, but on his last outing he took the runner-up spot in a Grade 2 chase at Fairyhouse in April. On ratings, and indeed weights, both Escaria Ten and Mount Ida hold every chance. The former may be seen to better effect on slower ground while the latter is on a recovery mission after unseating in both the Aintree Grand National and the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse.
Prediction : 1st Darasso 2nd Cilaos Emery 3rd Mount Ida

INNATENDUE sets a high standard with a rating of 122. She earned that with a second place in a Grade 2 juvenile hurdle at Fairyhouse in April in addition to her strong form in her native France. There is no doubt that she wasn't at her best when dropping away in third on seasonal reappearance in Wexford at the end of October. That may have been down to returning from a break and she will be sharper today. Gordon Elliott's Jeepydoff Meel is highly likely to improve from an opening fifth-placed finish over a further trip in a big field at Punchestown in October. The fact that the winner and the fourth home both came out and won on their next starts further enhances his claims. Ages Of Man could go well for a long way off the front. Hands Of Gold made a pleasing debut when fourth in Down Royal and is a potential improver. San Martino is a hurdling newcomer to keep an eye on in the market.
Prediction : 1st Innatendue 2nd Jeepydoff Meel 3rd Ages Of Man

FOXY GIRL finished second in her only previous run in an Auteuil Listed Hurdle in April 2021. By a leading French sire, she was well regarded, started favourite, for the Auteuil race (for unraced three-year-old fillies) and while she missed the 2021/22 season, has joined leading connections, is still just a four-year-old and receives 8lb from previous winners. Mollys Glory has twice placed at Listed level, finished a nose second over course and distance last month and while holding obvious claims, concedes weight to the selection. Liberty Dance similarly carries a penalty, but has won two bumpers and should benefit from her jumps debut in a Grade 3 hurdle at Down Royal last month. Course bumper winner A Law Of Her Own has winning point-to-point experience, while Moon Rise Beauty's bumper win was over 2m3f but ran well in an October maiden hurdle at this distance. Both Cash The Cheque and Chautuaqua have won bumpers but lacks jumping experience.
Prediction : 1st Foxy Girl 2nd Mollys Glory 3rd Liberty Dance

Third reserve Quais De Paris stands out but without his presence confirmed, stablemate ALLIBABA can win on jumps debut. Quais De Paris finished third on his only previous run in a hot Compiegne hurdle in October 2021, was bought for E180,000 the following month and looks smart. ALLIBABA was beaten by a smart type on Galway debut and while subsequently well-held in another course bumper, could improve over jumps and contests an ordinary maiden. Purse Price won a UK point-to-point, which was run as a flat race, last February and improved from her Fairyhouse jumps debut when finishing third over course and distance recently. She has her chance but possibly need to continue progression to win. Aslukwoodhavit was in contention when unseating rider at Bellewstown on his last run in August 2021 and while ground-versatile, is long absent and debuts for a new yard, on jumps debut. Musta Lovea Lovea has place claims while 65-rated Flat handicapper Scrum Half debuts over jumps. I Am Rocco debuts for Willie Mullins but his UK bumper form is quite ordinary.
Prediction : 1st Allibaba 2nd Purse Price 3rd Aslukwoodhavit

CHAMPAGNE AUCTION can to improve despite being a seven-year-old. His initial form was poor but won on debut for a new yard at Cork, beating two subsequent winners and can defy a 7lb higher mark. He had been declared with a tongue-tie when a withdrawn reserve at Punchestown on Tuesday but runs without it today. Future Romance looks attractively handicapped on her best flat form but was beaten a long way on Curragh reappearance in October, albeit that was her first run in 386 days and should improve considerably. Stablemate Thefaithfulindian is a three-time flat winner who is race-fit and finished second on her most recent hurdle runs, from similar ratings. Molly Kaye is a previous course and distance winner who despite being an exposed nine-year-old, has a favourable rating on the evidence of her recent Flat form, reverting to hurdles. Brehon Star failed to land a gamble here recently, while Ucandoit, Ventnor and O Mio Babbino have useful recent form.
Prediction : 1st Champagne Auction 2nd Future Romance 3rd Thefaithfulindian
