WHATWOULDYOUKNOW did it nicely over C&D last month and a 3lb rise may not be enough to stop him racking up his third win in four starts. Mrs Dibble hasn't been seen for a while but if fully wound up for this she warrants respect now making her first start for Linda Perratt. Another worth noting may be Pallas Lord, who slightly lost his way a little on his last two starts in the spring (both on turf) but has shown a clear liking for this surface in the past.
Prediction : 1st Whatwouldyouknow 2nd Pallas Lord 3rd Mrs Dibble

Project Black is respected having won by the narrowest of margins at Redcar last month but, with polar opposite conditions here and because he has to concede 7lb and upwards to the field, he's passed over. Preference is for FIRST OF MAY, who shaped well when third at Leicester on debut and looks sure to have benefitted from that experience. Any market confidence behind the unraced Al Bidda, who is a son of Acclamation, should be noted.
Prediction : 1st First Of May 2nd Project Black 3rd Al Bidda

MACHO MANIA caught the eye when staying on nicely to finish runner-up at Kempton a fortnight ago and any natural progression from that outing gives him leading credentials. De Bruyne ran a fine race here to finish third over a furlong shorter whilst shaping like he will relish this extra yardage. Mistamac has perhaps had a few problems having not been seen since Catterick in May but is another to be interested in.
Prediction : 1st Macho Mania 2nd De Bruyne 3rd Mistamac

ZIP got back to winning ways at Doncaster last month and Richard Fahey's six-year-old is fancied to follow up running from 1lb out of the handicap. The son of Kyllachy remains well treated having won over C&D last April off 1lb higher and he's ideally drawn in stall 10. Documenting won a similar contest at Wolverhampton last time and he demands the utmost respect along with Azano, who posted a creditable effort in a conditions stakes race on his latest outing.
Prediction : 1st Zip 2nd Documenting 3rd Azano

Bobby Joe Leg got the hat-trick up at Wolverhampton last month and, though he's entitled to go well once again, this is more demanding. Victoria Falls could be fairly treated off an opening mark of 63 and she's another worthy of consideration, but preference is for MACHO PRIDE. Ben Haslam's charge is yet to prove his stamina over this trip, but the son of Camacho kept on well over 6f last time and, if the extra furlong can eke out further improvement, he could go one better.
Prediction : 1st Macho Pride 2nd Bobby Joe Leg 3rd Victoria Falls

Logo Hunter appears to hold every chance in receipt of 5lb from ART POWER, but the latter, who finished a creditable eighth in the Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot in October, gets the verdict. Moss Gill boasts plenty of back class and his ability to go well fresh should stand the son of No Nay Never in good stead. Kaboo retains potential and is considered, for all that this would require a career-best performance.
Prediction : 1st Art Power 2nd Logo Hunter 3rd Moss Gill

Noisy Night intrigues on his first start in over a year and following a gelding operation, but race fitness may be an issue and preference is for SHALLOW HAL, the winner of a better race at Chelmsford last month. Although he has an added 4lb from the handicapper, Sam Feilden claims 7lb and he's taken to go in again. Embour is chasing his hat-trick after wins here and at Wolverhampton and is also noted.
Prediction : 1st Shallow Hal 2nd Noisy Night 3rd Embour

Kraken Power should win more often but he does look well weighted and could surprise a few with a place at least. Teruntum Star has won better races as recently as September but they were on turf and he needs to repeat them on the all-weather which cannot be guaranteed, so AFTER JOHN could be the one. He shared the spoils after being joined on the line here last month but a better start may see him burst clear this time.
Prediction : 1st After John 2nd Teruntum Star 3rd Kraken Power

The lightly-raced BENEFICIARY may shoulder top weight to victory. He returned from a long break to score in a novice at Southwell by a nose over a furlong shorter, and looks all set for another big run here for a stable in excellent form. Coaxing wasn't beaten far at Southwell latest and comes into calculations, along with Catherine Chroi, who may have more to come on her third start for new connections.
Prediction : 1st Beneficiary 2nd Coaxing 3rd Catherine Chroi
