With just the three heading to post, it is easiest to side with TINTINTIN who arrives in this following a comfortable win on his racecourse debut at Ffos Las in October. He has to shoulder a 7lb penalty for that win which may not be enough to stop him following up here, but Spirit D'aunou lost little in defeat when finishing second at Kempton last month and is feared most. Chief Hopper completes the lineup.
Prediction : 1st Tintintin 2nd Spirit Daunou 3rd Chief Hopper

A fairly open contest in which marginal preference is for POKER MASTER. A game winner over this C&D last month, a 5lb raised mark may not be enough to stop him from following up and he gets on so well with Tom Buckley. Hillfinch was not disgraced behind Mullenbeg at Fakenham most recently and a 3lb lower figure can help her sneak closer into contention. Maid On The Moon remains relatively unexposed and should not be taken lightly.
Prediction : 1st Poker Master 2nd Hillfinch 3rd Maid On The Moon

This looks a warm event, but SCHOOL DAYS OVER finished an excellent second in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham last month and left the impression that more would be to come from him over timber. Father Of Jazz makes his NH debut and was a classy performer on the Flat so has to be of considerable interest. Kenzai Warrior also performed to a high standard on the level, while Hansard makes appeal on both his seasonal and stable bow. Give Treyarnon Bay plenty of thought too.
Prediction : 1st School Days Over 2nd Father Of Jazz 3rd Hansard

Potters Hedger may be freshened up by the change of scenery on this stable debut for Charlie Longsdon, although making his first start over the larger obstacles at the age of 10 tempers enthusiasm. ART OF ILLUSION may have more to offer in this sphere and the Warren Greatrex-trained five-year-old, who has had wind surgery recently, could regain the winning thread now running over a more suitable distance. Top Decision and Great D'Ange arrive in good heart and also merit consideration.
Prediction : 1st Art Of Illusion 2nd Potters Hedger 3rd Top Decision

Impulsive One is likely to prove popular after winning over C&D last month, which was his first success in handicap company over the sticks. However, a 4lb rise will make life tougher and NICKLE BACK may offer some value. The Sarah Humphrey-trained six-year-old was full of beans on his reappearance at Cheltenham and was unable to see out 2m5f, but he could bounce back to winning ways now dropped in trip. First Impression is another to consider now down in class.
Prediction : 1st Nickle Back 2nd Impulsive One 3rd First Impression

First Flow and Mister Fisher have landed the last two renewals of this contest, and they demand the utmost respect again. There could be a different name etched on to the trophy this year, however, in the shape of PIC D'ORHY. Paul Nicholls' seven-year-old returned to action with a comfortable success at Newton Abbot in October and further improvement is a distinct possibility on his second start following a wind surgery. Millers Bank heads the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Pic DOrhy 2nd First Flow 3rd Mister Fisher

Oliver Sherwood might have a smart one on his hands in the shape of QUEENS GAMBLE, who was mightily impressive when running out a wide-margin winner of a Listed bumper at Cheltenham last month. She must concede 4lb to her rivals here, but that's unlikely to stop the daughter of Getaway from following up. Hard As Nails and 220,000-pound purchase Alfie's Princess can give the selection most to think about.
Prediction : 1st Queens Gamble 2nd Hard As Nails 3rd Alfies Princess
