There should be more to come from LIGHT EM UP NIGEL now handicapping. He was beaten a fair way when second at Hereford last month but the horse that beat him Nemean Lion has come out and run really well since so the form has been franked. A mark of 111 looks lenient to me and if he improves again he looks to have a great chance of opening his account. I thought he’d be clear favourite for this so at around 10/3 (was 4/1 last night) at the time of writing looks worth snapping up.

Pepe Le Moko was a good third at Newton Abbot and shaped well again in defeat at Cheltenham last time so looks the danger. There doesn’t look to be any juice in his price though. Icare Grandchamp showed definite promise in France but needs to settle better than he has been if he is going to get involved here as he failed to see out his race last time.
