Denis Hogan is well represented in this claimer and MAJESTIC COLT appears to have found a good opportunity. The selection was a multiple winner in Germany including twice at Group 3 level but has plummeted in the ratings from a mark of 108 in May. However, he wasn't beaten too far in the valuable Ahonoora Handicap over this trip at the Galway Festival and probably found a mile too far on a couple of occasions here recently. Stablemates Hurricane Helen, just denied over a mile here last Friday, and Aljady are others to consider along with Muhalhel and Shabaaby.
Prediction : 1st Majestic Colt 2nd Hurricane Helen 3rd Muhalhel

SKIP JAMES caught the eye when finishing well on debut at Fairyhouse earlier this year and having gone close again at the same venue, opened his account in a nursery over C&D in October. The son of Expert Eye may have scope for further improvement and can give weight to all his rivals. Blue News has been consistent in five outings and took well to this surface when runner-up last time, with four of these rivals behind including the promising Empty Metaphor. Dancethenightaway was reported to be coughing after her debut last month, while Angel Above is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Skip James 2nd Blue News 3rd Dancethenightaway

It's best to forgive STATIC CHARGE a disappointing run here last time as he was reportedly sore after clipping heels around halfway. The Joe Murphy-trained gelding ran well off this mark on his previous two starts including when runner-up to Slick Chick at this venue. Pub Talk was claimed out of Noel Meade's yard after recording his second win here last month, with Trident Star back in third, while former stablemate Shangrilama appears reasonably treated having won a maiden also over seven furlongs here last Wednesday. Michael Halford's string continue in good form on the polytrack and Doctor Grace should again go close, while topweight As Fast As Wind can't be lightly discounted.
Prediction : 1st Static Charge 2nd Doctor Grace 3rd As Fast As Wind

SENOR CARROTS should be suited by the return to a mile. The Andy Oliver-trained gelding didn't enjoy the clearest of passages when only beaten about a length behind Linus Larrabee and again put in his best work here at the finish behind Inishmot Prince over an inadequate six furlongs last Wednesday. Trueba comes here off the back of a series of solid efforts including when third to The Mpex Kid over C&D, while Notforalongtime has done Laura Hourigan proud with two wins here over a mile and has not been overburdened by the handicapper. The lightly-raced Oh Cleo is another to note now fitted with blinkers.
Prediction : 1st Senor Carrots 2nd Trueba 3rd Oh Cleo

INFLECTION POINT has won four times including off a mark of 89 over this trip at Fairyhouse last year and was claimed by current connections last month before a promising effort when a close third to Inishmot Prince over C&D last week. Betrayed won three times for Ado McGuinness last year. The daughter of Lethal Force has dropped considerably in the ratings since but has given encouragement on her latest two starts. Un Bacio Ancora merits respect if reproducing her second to Capuchinero over C&D last Friday, while Maid To Shine starts handicap life off just 53 despite being placed in a maiden here last time.
Prediction : 1st Inflection Point 2nd Maid To Shine 3rd Betrayed

KUWAIT DIRECTION was only beaten about four lengths in the Coventry Stakes as a juvenile although the course maiden winner has had his sights greatly lowered since. He won off a basement mark over this trip at Fairyhouse in September and has held his form since on this surface, including when runner-up to Company Keeping last month. Sadiqaa showed plenty of pace and perhaps went off too quick when weakening inside the final furlong here last week, while others to consider include Livingston Range, Dutch Glory and Midnight Fire. The latter won a 23-runner handicap at the Curragh this spring and should be suited by the return to six.
Prediction : 1st Kuwait Direction 2nd Midnight Fire 3rd Sadiqaa

COLD STEEL showed promise as a juvenile for Jessica Harrington but missed all of last year before steadily progressing in three starts this term. He ran a cracker over a mile at Leopardstown and was then off for a further four months before making the breakthrough when upped to 1m4f here last Wednesday. This extended ten furlongs should be enough of a stamina test for the selection who also races off an 8lb higher mark. Sheer Chance has been frustrating to follow before getting up close home in a mile maiden here last month, while Redstone Well tries this trip for the first time after going close over a mile last time. Riccardi Medici, Adamaris and Firstman may all prefer a bit further.
Prediction : 1st Cold Steel 2nd Sheer Chance 3rd Redstone Well

There is little to choose between Engagement Ring and MARVELOSA on running behind River Rain over C&D last week and slight preference is given to the Richard O'Brien-trained filly on overall form. She showed promise on a number of occasions also over 1m4f including behind White Caviar in a Listowel maiden that has worked out well since. Banned was bought out of Hughie Morrison's yard for 35,000 guineas this summer and it will interesting to see how strong she is in the market after a four month absence. Nel had Reginalds Tower about three lengths behind last time but those places may be reversed over this longer trip.
Prediction : 1st Marvelosa 2nd Engagement Ring 3rd Banned
