BOLSOVER BILL caught the eye when recording a comfortable win at Catterick on his latest outing last month. A 5lb raised mark may not be enough to stop him following up given he kept on to score by two and a quarter lengths, but Starvoski should not be underestimated with a run under her belt this season. Miss Mcgugen completes the shortlist on her return to action.
Prediction : 1st Bolsover Bill 2nd Starvoski 3rd Miss Mcgugen

It could be dangerous to dismiss Good Work, who arrives following a good second at Uttoxeter last month, but the Sam Thomas-trained BALLYBEEN built on his seasonal debut when filling the runner-up spot at Hereford in the hands of Charlie Deutsch most recently. He has gone up 5lb for that run but talented conditional Shane Quinlan knocks 3lb off the gelding's back today, so he merits the utmost respect. Caro Des Flos completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Ballybeen 2nd Good Work 3rd Caro Des Flos

Fuji Flight has dropped to just 3lb above his last winning mark and can have a say in proceedings down in class from his most recent outing, but it was hard not to be impressed by ONLY THE BOLD when bolting up on both his chase and stable debut over this course and distance last month. He can follow up off a 10lb raised mark, but Golden Sovereign is another not to be taken lightly.
Prediction : 1st Only The Bold 2nd Fuji Flight 3rd Golden Sovereign

The veteran BOBO MAC is showing no signs of his advancing years catching up with him, as he has looked in great nick this season, and he is fancied to back up his recent cosy Chepstow success. Jubilee Express went down fighting when failing to justify favouritism at Lingfield on his seasonal reappearance last month and could improve for this longer trip. David Pipe won this race last year and his Itacare isn't without a chance either.
Prediction : 1st Bobo Mac 2nd Jubilee Express 3rd Itacare

Donald McCain has won this three times in the past five years and looks to have strong claims in adding to that impressive record with IVAR, who has had a wind operation since his runner-up effort over C&D last month. Bubble Dubi has shown a decent level of form in both starts over hurdles and looks the likely danger. Howlingmadmurdock makes his debut over obstacles having won a bumper for Anthony Honeyball earlier in the year and is worth a market check.
Prediction : 1st Ivar 2nd Bubble Dubi 3rd Howlingmadmurdock

It may pay dividends to side with in-form five-year-old HERITIER, who arrives on the hunt for a first victory over hurdles. The progressive gelding recorded a career-best effort when readily dismissing his rivals over fences at Market Rasen last time and, given George Cowley's claim, he is effectively 5lb lower on his return over the smaller obstacles. Lady Tremaine is capable on her day and demands the utmost respect on seasonal reappearance, while Razzo Italiano completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Heritier 2nd Lady Tremaine 3rd Razzo Italiano

In this fascinating contest marginal preference is for AMIDNIGHTSTAR, who gave a good account when runner-up at Stratford on her debut under Rules. The five-year-old's dam was a dual winner on the Flat and she may be able to take a step forward in this contest. Ballybeg Boss was victorious in a point-to-point in April and must be respected after being bought for 50,000 pounds, while La Pagerie is related to plenty of winners and can't be overlooked either.
Prediction : 1st Amidnightstar 2nd Ballybeg Boss 3rd La Pagerie
