It hasn’t been a quick process but DOCTOR GRACE improved again to get within half a length of victory over 7f here last month and with this step up to a mile looking ideal she should be able to open her account now. The way she wandered under pressure I still feel like she is learning her trade so there is good reason to expect better every time she runs. She has gone up 3lb but this looks a good opportunity on paper and I think she’ll take the beating. Hot Streak filly Fendi ran well when third last time a place behind the selection. I expect that from line to play out so she is the main danger to the favourite. Zentopia hasn’t shown a great deal so far but better can be expected now going handicapping. It will be interesting to see what the market makes of him come post time so keep an eye on that.

I know BLUE HERO is yet to win this season but if you look back he has been handed a few tough asks and this looks well within reach. He ran quite well when fourth over track and trip last week and this looks an easier race. He can be keen so with a lack of pace on it will be interesting to see what Tyler Heard does with him. It might be a good opportunity for him to try and go off the front. The market looks to have this spot on with Sundayinmay the obvious danger. She has failed to fire the last twice but her form from earlier in the season would definitely have her in the mix. Starfighter is often a horse I fail to catch right but again if he bounces back you’d have to respect his chances. Looks out of form though finishing 10 lengths down the field at Kempton so perhaps best watched in his present mood.
