Hickory has won both starts to date and is clearly quite promising but an opening mark of 80 is certainly no given and he looks short enough in here. UNSUNG HERO’s two wins both came over this C&D and while he failed to fire in the hat-trick bid at Wolverhampton last time it would be no surprise to see him bounce back returned to this venue. He likely still has more to come off his current mark and has been largely overlooked in the betting at 9/1 at the time of writing.

Granary Queen continues to run well and went down just half a length at Lingfield last week. If she reproduces that sort of form she won’t be far away once more. Global Warning would be worth closer attention if he was drawn better. He ran well at Wolverhampton last time but to overcome stall 13 here would take a big effort. Got No Dollars also makes appeal but again has been drawn right out wide which is enough to put me off.
