I’m willing to forgive BACK FROM DUBAI that last run over a mile here as he seemed to get a bit worked up in the prelims and didn’t really give his running as a result. If you look at his run before that when he went down just a neck to Masqool that was much more like the form he is capable of. He drops back down to 7f having been freshened up and this 4-time course winner may well be able to produce his best here.

He is only 4lb above his last winning mark and with Jordan Williams claiming a handy 5lb he must go close. Divine Connection was given too much to do at Wolverhampton last time and she will be a danger if reproducing that here under better tactics. Night Traveller is still quite interesting as she is a three-year-old and might have more to come but she was poor at Chepstow on final start in the summer.

After a couple of big runs in defeat as a two-year-old, it was good to see NOBLE ORDER open his account over C&D at the start of the year. He was obviously entitled to do that given the price he was sent off but he did it easily and showed his effectiveness on this surface. Put away after that I thought he was a big eye-catcher when third to Top Secret on handicap debut last month. He was slowly into stride and then raced keenly clearly needing a stronger gallop.

He should be well handicapped off a mark of 86 and if he improves this looks a decent opportunity. Court Of Session won at Chelmsford on return and then bumped into one at Wolverhampton so could emerge as the danger. Unforgotten was impressive winning at Newcastle but hasn’t been seen since which would have to be concerning. Definitely one to keep an eye on going forward though.
