Be Fierce has bits of form but disappointed when favourite on reappearance last month while Slane Hill has some form but needs to improve. Tony Martin's Read To Return has his third hurdles run and showed good form in a point-to-point and bumper earlier this year.

LAW ELLA has bumped into smart mares in recent runs and has strong overall form. A Grade 2 bumper runner-up at Aintree last April, she ran well on hurdles debut and while subsequently well held by an impressive winner at Fairyhouse, she finished long distances clear of the remainder. Mel Monroe won a point-to-point easily last March and also ran well on bumper debut. She is her yard's first-string but has a bit to find on overall form with the selection. Stablemate Halka Du Tabert won her point-to-point impressively and having won a course and distance bumper last month, can play her part, albeit she hasn't been tested at graded level yet, in contrast to the selection. Hauturiere has shown form but might bump into a few too strong while One Cool Lady debuts for a new yard and lacks race-fitness.

GO GILL GO has won just once from 17 attempts but has useful recent form and contests a very ordinary handicap. Her only win was gained at Sligo in July 2021 but has been running well from similar ratings recently, is ground-versatile and suited by this distance. O Mio Babbino is a dual point-to-point winner who has generally been running well and while a little disappointing at Thurles last time, has claims on earlier efforts which were on easier surfaces. Ceanndana has been running well but his form is over longer distances while Mastermind is reasonably capable at this level but hasn't won for almost five years. Cafe Del Mar, out of a six-timer winning mare, won last March but reappears over a seemingly inadequate distance on debut for a very new trainer.

JOURNEY WITH ME was held when falling on Gowran chase debut but was high class, on soft ground, previously. Held by the winner when falling at the last in Cheltenham's Ballymore and disappointing subsequently at Punchestown, his Gowran return, in a smart race, was a shade disappointing but should improve jumping-wise and remains promising. Bronn was rated 8lb lower, at 137, over hurdles but enjoyed a clear round on fences debut behind a smart winner. He was a Grade 2 winner over hurdles but might struggle against an on-song selection. Lightly-raced Highland Charge makes his chase debut but was a Grade 3 hurdle winner in March and could improve over fences. Ramillies has failed to compete at Grade 1 level and debuts over fences while Indiana Jones ran well on chase debut. Race-fit My Immortal has plenty on his plate on chase debut.

KNOW THE GAME has useful recent form and reverts to fences. His two handicap hurdle placings have been at this 0-102 level and while well held on handicap chase debut, that was in a higher grade and today competes in an ordinary race, with trip and distance in his favour. In-form Hard Rain makes his handicap chase debut and while his recent placings have been over 2m4f, has form at this distance, albeit he is an 11-race maiden. Added Bonus and dual hurdle winner Toms Courage are closely matched on a recent Thurles meeting while Hollybank King won over this distance in February 2021 and should benefit from a recent reappearance. Coolcullen, an entire, makes his handicap chase debut.

By a leading sire and a half-brother to The Bosses Oscar, he cost 280,000-euros as a three-year-old and while he started favourite at Navan, ran very green before finishing strongly and will be much more street-wise. Loughglynn contested a valuable and hot sales race on debut in April and while well held, improvement is likely. Makingachamp is a half-brother to two capable winners and hails from a yard which excels in bumpers. Givehimethehonor won on point-to-point debut and while the form has yet to be properly tested, both he (a subsequent 75,000 pounds purchase) and a final fence faller subsequently sold for big money. Bective Bridge was beaten 12 lengths on debut while Connors Cross, a half-brother to two blacktype performers, showed promise in a point-to-point. Lucky Zebo was well held at Naas while Baltray is a notable bumper runner from Noble Yeats' source.
