Although JUNKANOO failed to back up his win here in November when runner-up nine days ago, he shaped well enough to suggest he can win off his current mark and this extra yardage is sure to play to strengths. Haku travelled and quickened up powerfully when scoring over C&D last month and a 5lb rise seems fair for the improving three-year-old. Alan King drops This Ones For Fred back in trip and he must have claims at a track he's gone well at few times in the past.
Prediction : 1st Junkanoo 2nd Haku 3rd This Ones For Fred

There clearly wasn't much expected of HADRIANUS at Newcastle on debut having gone off at 50/1 but he went into many notebooks when staying on well to grab second in the latter stages over 1m2f at Newcastle and, being by Galileo, has plenty of scope for improvement over this extended trip. New Dayrell shaped well on both starts in August and is now upped in trip having been gelded in the since. Of the newcomers, the Roger Varian-trained Fox Vision, who was a 150,000gns purchase last year, makes most appeal.
Prediction : 1st Hadrianus 2nd New Dayrell 3rd Fox Vision

BLUE CURACAO didn't enjoy the clearest of passages when staying on to grab third over C&D 10 days ago and if he gets gets the breaks he needs this time, then he looks the one they all have to beat. Silky Smooth hasn't really shown much in all three starts to date but has now qualified for handicaps and an opening mark of 58 may be workable as he's upped in trip. Speziato showed considerable improvement for being gelded to finish sixth at Chelmsford eight days ago and may progress for this extra yardage.
Prediction : 1st Blue Curacao 2nd Silky Smooth 3rd Speziato

Some powerful stables saddle some nice-looking newcomers here, with the slight preference for SAPPHIRE SEAS. This daughter of Frankel is well-related and it appears to be a decent opportunity to get off the mark on her racecourse debut. Champion jockey William Buick takes the ride for Charlie Appleby and Godolphin which is a major positive. Appleby also saddles Magical Skies, while John and Thady Gosden's runner Midsummer Dance could also have a say.
Prediction : 1st Sapphire Seas 2nd Magical Skies 3rd Midsummer Dance

Unforgotten is having his first run since April last year, when he was successful over 7f at Newcastle, and he is likely to have a say if fully wound up on his handicap bow. However, he may be vulnerable to some rivals with a fitness edge like COURT OF SESSION, who has finished in the first two in each of his last two starts. Simon and Ed Crisford's three-year-old runs off a 2lb higher mark than when he was picked up late on over the extended mile at Wolverhampton last time, but this drop in trip should be a big positive. Top Secret should also be thereabouts.
Prediction : 1st Court Of Session 2nd Unforgotten 3rd Top Secret

ARAMIS GREY was just held last time when seeking a hat-trick over C&D and this appears to be a good opportunity to go one better today. Rae Guest's runner has been handed a 2lb rise in the ratings for that head defeat and that may prove lenient here. Total Commitment (also engaged to run at Southwell on Thursday) should be thereabouts after being held by a head over 6f at Lingfield last week and Simon Hodgson's charge is on much better terms with the reopposing winner of that contest, Tyger Bay.
Prediction : 1st Aramis Grey 2nd Total Commitment 3rd Tyger Bay

Rooful has won twice over C&D since he returned from a short break but has gone up 10lb in the ratings as a result and may be worth taking on today. ADACE strikes as a lively option after winning over 1m here off 1lb lower 16 days ago and she is unlikely to fazed by dropping in trip. Cieren Fallon has a good rapport with the selection and another bold effort can be expected from the partnership. Dashing Rat and Split Elevens are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Adace 2nd Rooful 3rd Dashing Rat
