Speziato showed considerable improvement for being gelded to finish sixth at Chelmsford eight days ago and may progress for this extra yardage.

Some powerful stables saddle some nice-looking newcomers here, with the slight preference for SAPPHIRE SEAS. Rooful has won twice over C&D since he returned from a short break but has gone up 10lb in the ratings as a result and may be worth taking on today. ADACE strikes as a lively option after winning over 1m here off 1lb lower 16 days ago and she is unlikely to fazed by dropping in trip. Cieren Fallon has a good rapport with the selection and another bold effort can be expected from the partnership. Dashing Rat and Split Elevens are others to consider.
