The George Boughey trained VISION OF HOPE (best priced at 4/1) has been well backed overnight for her handicap debut and it is clear to see why she has proved so popular. The daughter of Mastercraftsman has been outpaced over a mile and 7f on her first three starts in maiden/novice company but interestingly now steps up in trip to 1m4f for her handicap debut.

The handicapper has given Vision Of Hope a lowly rating of 57 to start off and that could seriously underestimate her now upped to the correct distance on breeding. She has a similar profile to her stablemate Queen Of Ipanema later on the card and hopefully she can make a winning handicap debut.

Vision Of Hope - 1pt @ 4/1

The unexposed Lord Paramount looks to hold strong claims on his handicap debut but I am going to take a flyer at OSTILIO (best priced at 40/1) at a huge price. It is a long time since the Phil McEntee trained seven-year-old was a Royal Ascot winner but you only have to go back to June to find his latest victory which came at 25/1 off a mark of 76 at Yarmouth.

Since that win Ostilio has disappointed on his four starts but he now drops into a 0-70 handicap for the first time. This represents a big drop in class and I think he is worth taking a chance on with Grace McEntee taking off a handy 3lbs.

Ostilio - 0.5pts e/w @ 40/1

Sea Tsarina is less exposed than QUEEN OF IPANEMA (best priced at 5/2) but the selection is in unbelievable form currently and bids to win a sixth race in a row. The George Boughey trained three-year-old showed very little in her first three starts over 7f and a mile before winning on handicap debut off a mark of 52. She is undefeated in her runs in handicaps and despite improving 31lbs since her first victory, she still appears to have a progressive profile.

Queen Of Ipanema steps up in class today but she looks worth keeping onside until she is beaten and hopefully she can win again under William Buick.

Queen Of Ipanema - 1pt @ 5/1
