With that run under his belt at Chepstow last month GRANDEUR D’AME could be ready to strike. That was a pleasing reappearance leading for much of the race and he just shaped as though he would come on for the run. The winner Saint Segal is a nice horse who was back to form and the second Marta Des Mottes has been in good order recently too. He runs off the same mark here and with better expected he could turn out to be decent value against the market principals. Galop De Chasse bumped into Gunsight Ridge when second at Aintree and then ran well in a good race at Exeter. He is also entered at Hereford though so it will be interesting to see which engagement he takes up. He could be the danger but no juice in his price at the time of writing. Gallic Geordie is another to note but that form behind Walk In The Wild has been let down since which would be a bit concerning.
