After bolting up by 8 lengths over C&D last month I did think FUNKY TOWN PINKIE might be vulnerable back in trip last time but she impressed staying on strongly to win with a bit in hand. She clearly likes it here and even carrying a penalty she looks to have more to come yet. Kitten’s Dream had some good form in the book but was no match in second and the third Prince Abu still has more to come so it is hard to knock the form too much. She will likely be handy again and I think she’ll be bang there at the finish. Raiff blew out at Doncaster but was back to form getting within a length of victory here last time. He has first-time cheekpieces now so might improve a bit again and emerge as the danger. Bird For Life is capable when on a going day having won 3 of her last 4 but she isn’t always one for maximum trust and she might prove vulnerable here.
