DEERE MARK is clearly well regarded after contesting the Grade 2 Supreme Trial at Cheltenham last month and, although he wasn't quite up to that standard, the five-year-old holds leading claims here. Fancy Stuff displayed more promise when last seen finishing second at Southwell and she cannot be ruled out. Idealdes Villerets and Gaelic Park may fight it out for the minor honours.
Prediction : 1st Deere Mark 2nd Fancy Stuff 3rd Idealdes Villerets

Issuing Authority made a pleasing start to his hurdling career when runner-up at Uttoxeter last month and, with improvement likely, the five-year-old is of interest today. However, the Dan Skelton-trained HEEZER GEEZER's form rates narrowly stronger and this looks like a good opportunity to shed his maiden tag over hurdles. Shomen Uchi has some fair bumper form to his name and is another to note on this first appearance over obstacles.
Prediction : 1st Heezer Geezer 2nd Issuing Authority 3rd Shomen Uchi

Emir Sacree recorded a second success over fences when last seen in March, but will need a career-best performance to win off his new rating. MAGIC DANCER looked as good as ever when winning at Cheltenham on his reappearance last month and a 3lb rise in the ratings is unlikely to prevent another bold bid. Nocte Volatus and Equus Dancer shouldn't be underestimated on their belated returns.
Prediction : 1st Magic Dancer 2nd Nocte Volatus 3rd Equus Dancer

MR VANGO, who cost 30,000 pounds after winning between the flags in February, looks a solid option despite picking up a 5lb penalty for his gutsy success on his debut under Rules at Haydock three weeks ago. He displayed a willing attitude that day and ticks the right boxes as regards trip and ground. Grove Road is an obvious threat after scoring over 2m4f on his hurdles debut in October, while Inflexible is another to bear in mind.
Prediction : 1st Mr Vango 2nd Grove Road 3rd Inflexible

14:15 Hereford

CREDO was comfortably on top of Flowing Cadenza when they encountered each other at Chepstow last month and the seven-year-old created the impression that she had a lot more to offer over fences. A 13lb higher mark obviously makes this a stiffer task, but she merits the utmost respect. Lilith and Glorious Lady look the pick of the opposition on this occasion.
Prediction : 1st Credo 2nd Lilith 3rd Glorious Lady

ROGER RAREBIT may have found the trip just a bit too sharp when he was run out of things in the closing stages at Lingfield last month and could gain compensation for that defeat here. Navegaon Gate, who finished just behind the selection on that occasion, is likely to appreciate the stiffer test and can again pose a serious threat. Isle Of Aron and Gyllen are suggested as the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Roger Rarebit 2nd Navegaon Gate 3rd Isle Of Aron

15:15 Hereford

Presuming Ed steps up in class following a promising second at Ludlow on his most recent outing and he could have a say in proceedings despite being 3lb out of the handicap. That said, CAP DU MATHAN lost little in defeat at Wincanton most recently and could improve today. In Excelsis Deo makes both his stable and chasing bow on his return to action and is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Cap Du Mathan 2nd Presuming Ed 3rd In Excelsis Deo

MAGIC SEVEN bolted up over this course and distance last month and a 7lb penalty for that success does not look set to stop him from following up today. Roger Pol is related to some smart types and drops in grade following a disappointing run in Listed company last time out. Amidnightstar, La Pagerie and Kruger Park are others to keep in mind.
Prediction : 1st Magic Seven 2nd Roger Pol 3rd Amidnightstar
