The way TEDDY BLUE won over C&D last month was very impressive and while he was entitled to do that given the odds he was sent off for any horse to win by 20 lengths is quite a taking performance. He had pushed Boombawn within a length at Kempton prior to that so his form since that wind op is very solid. He could only finish third at Newbury last time but he hit 3 out and lost a bit of momentum before keeping on. The winner First Street is a nice prospect for Nicky Henderson and I rate the second Grivetana too as she should be a nice filly further down the line. He is 1lb lower here and also has a 3lb claimer booked. This is easier and he looks to have plenty going for him. Dream In The Park is eyeing up a hat-trick and showed a good attitude to prevail at Ascot but 5lb higher this is going to demand more from him.

Visually I was really impressed with GREY DAWNING at Exeter last time and given that has been backed up by the clock and the second Lallygag has won head in chest since it looks even better now. He goes back up in trip which should suit given how he hit the line the last day and I can see this track suiting him as well. The ground should be ideal and I’m surprised he isn’t shorter than 9/4 at the time of writing as he ticks plenty of boxes. Theatre Glory is a likeable mare who brought up a hat-trick of wins at Cheltenham last season looking progressive. She let backers down on return though unseating at Newbury and has a bit to prove off the back of that. If she bounces back she could be the danger. The Bomber Liston impressed winning at Uttoxeter but was well held at Punchestown on final start and his hopes will be pinned on going well fresh here.
