The majority of this field come here with something to prove so I think this makes BRETNEY a standout at around 4/1 at the time of writing. He seemed to need the run when only fourth on reappearance at Uttoxeter but quickly improved on that to win well at Hereford last month. He was always up with the pace and ran on well when asked finding plenty for pressure.

He struggled in better company at Newcastle last time but dropping back down into a Class 5 he will find this easier and I still think he has more to offer off this mark over fences. Myburg made a winning start in this sphere at Sedgefield back in April and has run to a consistent level on all 3 starts recently. This step up in trip should suit so he is the danger but he can be one paced and might lack a gear change to run down the selection. Event Of Sivola is one of few arriving in form but a 5lb rise coupled with the drop back in trip might catch him out today.
