Always in the right position in a steadily run race SIAM FOX deserved to get his head back in front at Wolverhampton last week. He actually remains relatively lightly raced for his age and turned out quickly under a 5lb penalty he represents good value to follow up. I think because that last race was run to suit a few might try and take him on but this is winnable and his claimer Alexander Voikhansky claims 7lb which negates the penalty and then some.

This track should suit and I think he can carry top weight to victory here. Chola Empire is favourite on potential more than anything as he is unproven over a mile and is more unexposed than most. He was held up last time but I didn’t like the way he hung under pressure and I’d be keen to oppose. Amaysmont is with Kevin Frost now and is my idea of the danger as he has won over this track and trip and is becoming dangerously well handicapped again.
