I think REGAL RAMBLER is best forgiven his final run for Brian Meehan when only fourth at Kempton. He is better than what he showed there and his Chelmsford second prior to that was more like what he is capable of when things pan out right. He has changed yards now and is with Alice Haynes so should have a big chance of getting off the mark with this track likely to suit. He is obviously open to further improvement on just his fourth start and it is no surprise to see him favourite for this. Punxsutawney Phil was seen to good effect back on the level winning at Wolverhampton last month. He is a stayer though and doesn’t do anything quickly so dropping back to a mile is hardly going to suit him. Endued makes his debut for James Fanshawe but unless the market speaks strongly he will likely come on for the run and experience.

The improving WIZARDING and Satin Snake lock horns again at Kempton on Wednesday. It was the latter that came out on top narrowly over track and trip last month but his run style always requires an element of luck coming from off the pace and off worser terms this time around it is the runner-up I am siding with here. He had Satin Snake back in third when winning over track and trip back in November and given this is just his sixth start and only third in a handicap he definitely ins’t done improving yet. He should get a toe in off Sir Titan and if Joshua Bryan kicks at the right time he might prove hard to catch. Of the others Let Em Have It was third at Chelmsford when last seen which wasn’t a bad run but he has a tough draw here. Sisters In The Sky would have a big shout on his best form but he has struggled to show it for a while now.
