13:15 Wolverhampton

I’m surprised HADLEY PARK hasn’t won again since making the breakthrough at Chelmsford but he has been a little unlucky. He got within a short head of following up at this track back in November and the winner Venetian is an improving colt for Mark Johnston. He then pulled too hard when finishing out the back at Kempton but was quickly back on track chasing home a progressive horse in Raintown who has gone in again since to frank the form.

He is actually 1lb lower here and if settling better should have these covered. He remains open to further improvement with this being just his fifth start in a handicap and this extra furlong might also see him step forward again. Demilion caught the eye finishing third to Nazymbek on final start at Lingfield last month. He should improve now sent handicapping so looks the danger.

13:30 Ffos Las

I have been with BOLSOVER BILL the last twice and I don’t see any reason to oppose him in his hat-trick bid at Ffos Las on Thursday. He has a relentless way of going and always seems to find more at the business end of his races. He made all again at Catterick last month and while this is a better race he at least escapes a penalty for that last win and could strike again while the iron is hot.

Dylan Kitts was seen to good effect on him last time and retains the ride claiming 7lb this time. Greenrock Abbey justified strong support to make a winning chase debut at Hereford albeit by just a neck. He is up 6lb and needs to be respected but it won’t be easy reeling in the selection especially if he makes mistakes like he did last time. Haldon Hill stayed on well to win at Ffos Las last time but this drop in trip doesn’t look the best move.
