This race has cut up now so with Jubilee Express a non runner KINCARDINE looks a decent bet for Nicky Henderson. This son of Kayf Tara improved to make all over hurdles at Newbury last year staying on strongly over two miles. He was beaten up to two and a half miles next time but bumped into a fair yardstick in Pull Again Green who won his next start to frank the form. Back from a 280 day layoff now sent handicapping there is good reason to expect better again. He is unexposed over three miles and looks worth chancing against these.

Jatiluwih was fourth behind a stablemate to the selection Captain Morgs at Cheltenham last month. That wasn’t a bad run but he’ll likely need to step forward again to get involved here. Hurricane Harvey may pose a greater threat as he won well at Uttoxeter and that form is working out well so a 6lb rise shouldn’t prevent another big run here.

After just a handful of runs it would be no surprise to see TYLOS step forward on debut for Archie Watson. This 4yo by Night Of Thunder looked good making all on just his third start for Simon and Ed Crisford. He was beaten twice last season but was pitched into two fiercely competitive handicaps and that run when fourth to Alflaila wasn’t bad at all. He has been gelded since and it is still early days with him so I think he’ll make an impact off his current mark back on the AW.

Eligible has won two of his last 3three and did it well over C&D again last time. He is 5lb higher here but still looks the biggest danger to the selection. Dancinginthewoods won at Kempton on penultimate start and only went down half a length over track and trip last time. Freshened up since he could be best of the rest but perhaps enough to find with the two mentioned above to come out on top in this.
