I’m keen to side with AMERICAN SNIPER here at a price. I thought he was an impressive winner edging out Libberty Hunter at Chepstow back in November and he backed that up beating another good yardstick in Can You Call over 2 miles here next time. He ultimately struggled under a double penalty over C&D last month but the winner Lallygag looks pretty smart and I think he had a few excuses that day. He goes handicapping off a mark of 126 now and will need to improve but he has only had the 4 starts over hurdles so there should be more to come yet. Sayadam has looked a tricky horse at times but he has won his last two now and showed a good attitude to edge ahead at Fontwell last time. A 4lb rise looks fair so I expect him to be on the premises but the market hasn’t missed him. Lady Adare is quite hard to assess but obviously remains unbeaten so is likely to be a warm order at the head of the betting.
