GYTO Sunday Value Tip

With Berkshire Phantom so short here BURNING THE BAILS looks the obvious value. This son of Time Test was sent off 40/1 on debut so clearly not a great deal was expected but he ran a huge race to finish third. He made good headway 2f out and stayed on well without threatening the winner who made all. He was slowly away that day too so is sure to improve from that and if he does he could easily serve it up to the favourite here. Berkshire Phantom obviously has some good form in the book and has experience on side which is why he is short but I didn’t think he was all that convincing when fourth at Newmarket and while that was a good race he might still need to improve to fend off the selection who will likely be hitting the line hard. Of the rest Royal Razzmatazz didn’t shape badly when midfield on debut and he should have a nice enough future but probably needs time and experience to come good.
