The three-time course winner shaped with promise on his belated chase debut and that experience ought to stand him in good stead.

FANFARON DINO may have needed his first run of the season as his finishing effort flattened out after travelling strongly when runner-up over C&D in November. Moorland Rambler was a place behind the selection last time and is likely to be in the mix here, along with Lock Out.

PENTIRE HEAD displayed his lack of experience when third on debut at Chepstow and the five-year-old will have learnt plenty from that initial outing, which he could put to best use on this occasion. A galloping track should play to his strengths and he gets the vote at the main expense of King Of Brazil, who was fancied to give subsequent Grade 1 winner Mighty Potter a race on his debut at Punchestown in March 2021. Heros De Romay is a half-brother to the stable's Espoir De Romay and it would be no surprise to see him run a big race.
