SATIN SNAKE has been in good form at this venue of late and lost little in defeat when collared on the line last week. Off the same mark, the Adrian Keatley-trained four-year-old gets the vote. Billy Mill returns from a 118-day absence, but merits respect now racing off a 2lb higher mark than for winning at Newcastle. Chelmsford runner-up May Night is another to consider, but may not prove as effective now dropped to 7f.
Prediction : 1st Satin Snake 2nd Billy Mill 3rd May Night

Simply Sin proved a different proposition when upped to 1m3f for the first time, powering clear to win over C&D last month, and an 8lb rise is unlikely to prevent another bold bid. A chance, however, is taken on MOONLIT CLOUD, who should have benefited for her recent return at Chelmsford and will be a big threat if back to the form of her exploits in the summer. Haseef arrives in better form than most, but he will need to settle better now up in trip.
Prediction : 1st Moonlit Cloud 2nd Simply Sin 3rd Haseef

FOINIX did well to finish second from a difficult position at Southwell and compensation could await off the same mark. Fullforward is likely to prove popular after winning well at Leicester and warrants consideration on his debut for a new stable, but a 5lb rise will make life tougher. Stintino Sunset needs to prove her effectiveness on Polytrack, but does look the type who would appreciate this extra distance.
Prediction : 1st Foinix 2nd Fullforward 3rd Stintino Sunset

PROFITABLE DAWN has improved with every run since entering handicap company and her most recent effort to occupy the runner-up berth at Lingfield suggests that a win may be just around the corner. Raised 5lb for a determined success at Southwell, Arbaawi looks to be her main danger, although She's A Mirage has offered encouragement since joining the David Evans stable and should break through before too long.
Prediction : 1st Profitable Dawn 2nd Arbaawi 3rd Shes A Mirage

Miss Dolly Rocker is bound to be popular after making the frame in all of her starts so far, but preference is still for BRORA BREEZE. Andrew Balding's filly was an eyecatcher when keeping on well for fourth at Lingfield and, on breeding, the step up in trip should suit. Calmly is expected to come on for her debut effort over C&D, while Understated looks the pick of the newcomers for a team that can ready one first time out.
Prediction : 1st Brora Breeze 2nd Miss Dolly Rocker 3rd Understated

ELEGANT CHARM may have bumped into a useful rival when finishing second at Southwell last time and it would be no surprise to see this C&D winner go one better here. Glittering Lights, a stablemate of the selection, has shown plenty of promise in novice company and merits plenty of respect on her handicap bow. Others to note are Rattling, Alcazan and Palace Gardens.
Prediction : 1st Elegant Charm 2nd Glittering Lights 3rd Rattling

Blazeon Five has to be of interest following a hat-trick of victories, but a 7lb rise for her most recent win will make life tougher for the five-year-old. With that in mind, preference is for HYDROPLANE, who was not disgraced when sixth in a competitive handicap off this mark at Glorious Goodwood when last seen. Smart Champion edges out Kincade to be the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Hydroplane 2nd Blazeon Five 3rd Smart Champion
