I backed JUPITER EXPRESS here on Monday and he failed to get competitive but he clearly did too much too soon in that race and paid the price late on. He is a lot better than that as he showed winning over 7f here prior to that. Mick Appleby does well with these types and it’s no surprise to see him turned out quickly in the hope he bounces back. This is an easier race and I think he can carry top-weight to victory under Tom Marquand. Silver Dollar finished over 2 lengths behind the selection when they met earlier in the month so has ground to make up on that form and has been beaten again since. He will be staying on well though so no surprise if he does finish second. Big Impact was back to winning ways striking over C&D back in November but hasn’t backed that up too well since and will likely be left vulnerable once more here.

This isn’t a great race and ZIG ZAG ZIGGY looks to be working up to a win so he might be worth chancing. He made a bright start for this yard finishing fifth over the minimum keeping on well in the closing stages. He then missed just a head over C&D looking a bit unlucky having been held up. He was beaten just half a length back down to 5f last time and should appreciate going back up a furlong in trip here. He is off the same mark and is clearly handicapped to strike with Adam Caffrey claiming a handy 7lb once more. Lethal Force mare Betrayed has run well the last twice and was only edged out late on in third last time. She was just three-quarters of a length behind the selection that day so no surprise if she was the one to give him most to think about. Lexington Liberty also ties in on that form having finished fourth so needs more.
