Following a 15/8 winner, Steve Ryder is back with two tips from today's action.

This looks a competitive 0-65 handicap but preference goes to the top weight MICK'S SPIRIT (best priced at 15/8) who drops in class into this race. The Conrad Allen trained five-year-old has been running consistently well on his latest starts since the application of blinkers with form figures of 35422 and RPRs of 73, 72, 73, 73 and 73.
Mick’s Spirit finished a close 2nd at Lingfield over on his penultimate start in a Class 4 0-85 handicap before finishing 2nd behind the progressive Man On A Mission in a Class 5 0-70 handicap last time. The handicapper has generously left him unchanged on a mark of 67 but he now drops into a Class 6 0-65 handicap and he should prove hard to beat in a first time visor with William Carver taking off a handy 3lbs from Stall 2.

Greavsie will no doubt prove popular in this race following his latest course and distance success but on that form line I will take a chance on BURENA (best priced at 10/1) who is 6lbs better off this time. The Clive Cox trained three-year-old was sent off only 4/1 on her handicap debut last time but showed her inexperience late no by hanging left under pressure. She still managed to finish 4th beaten 2 ½ lengths by Greavsie despite not looking the easiest ride.
Burena is now fitted with blinkers to help with her finishing effort and she also receives a swing in the weights with the favourite Greavsie who has been raised 5lbs whereas Burena has been dropped 1lb. With four places available I feel she is overpriced back over this course and distance and she should finish closer to the favourite this time.
