Supasundae's half-sister NIGHT AND DAY was beaten 96 lengths on Irish debut in an April Grade 1 but drops in class. Placed in three French Flat maidens, twice over 1m6f, she faced a huge task on jumps debut and while finishing tailed off, five previous winners were pulled up in the race. She is by soft-ground performer Sea The Moon, has form on testing ground and should improve. Chautuaqua has proven hurdles ability and while a beaten favourite over Christmas, is a bumper winner here on heavy ground. Four-year-old Circus Act, rated just 93, ran well in a heavy-ground maiden in October and can place. Lightly-raced seven-year-old One Cool Lady has soft-ground form but might struggle to win on jumps debut. Hurdling newcomer Newgirlintown has soft-ground Flat form but now encounters 'Clonmel heavy'.

There's a suspicion FEU DU BRESIL may have needed the run, following four years and two months off, over Christmas. A smart second in an Auteuil hurdle on debut in October 2018, he returned following a mammoth 1,530-day layoff at Limerick and while he ultimately tired quite quickly, he was too keen and can progress. Cillians Charm was well held in a useful winners' race at Doncaster in November, but drops back to maiden company. He has heavy-ground form and while a little disappointing on Town Moor, had previously run well at Naas and when finishing second over course and distance in October. Point-to-point winner Yeah Man ran well in an unplaced horses' maiden last month and could be suited by dropping to this distance, having travelled well at Naas. Trust Me Nate has some useful form, but I Am Rocco's form is ordinary.

GAELIC WARRIOR did his best Secretariat impression in winning by 16 seconds at Tramore and is exciting. He threw away victory in the Boodles at the Cheltenham Festival by jumping right, but appears high-class and is held in high regard. His 134 rating, which probably won't be utilised, seems to undervalue him as the beaten Tramore horses would, in theory, have raced to paltry 40-odd ratings. Weseekhimhere can improve from his recent reappearance, following a 469-day layoff, but should struggle to win. Blue Sari is smart at best but burst blood vessels at Punchestown and reverts to hurdles on reappearance. The Priests Leap needs to improve, also reverting to timber, while Braganza finished fifth in Cheltenham's mares' novice but was well beaten over Christmas. Maidenstreetprince steps up in grade.

CARBON KING landed a big gamble at Naas last month and has prospects of following up. He travelled well and was good value for his three and a half length success, so could do a bit more damage despite being raised 10lb in the weights. Crucially, he remains in the same 80-95 grade. Gwan Tadhg is less exposed than most and attracted a lot of support before finishing sixth in a better class of race in Cork. Shean Glory has been placed in her last three handicap hurdles and another solid run is on the cards. Shantou Sisu tends to run this track well and is a former course winner. He reverts back to hurdles after a spell chasing that included a victory in Downpatrick.

WEST BREEZE kept on to be a never-nearer fourth in a big field handicap hurdle at Cork last month. He occupied the same place in a handicap chase at this course on his penultimate start when rated 102. Considering he runs off 90 again in this discipline, with his jockey's claim factored in, he has to be of interest. Niall Moore and Lake Chad teamed up to come home second at this track and in Tramore. The jockey's 7lb claim has the eight-year-old gelding on a handy mark. Lake Chad finds it hard to win with one career success banked, but he has been placed in two of his three spins around Clonmel. Rolly Bowley Boy shaped encouragingly when not beaten far into fifth on handicap debut at Limerick. This lightly-raced sort looks to be one of the more likely contenders.

BONNIE KELLIE enjoyed herself on testing ground at Limerick over Christmas and posted a seven-length victory. The handicapper didn't miss that performance, but she could go in again with trip and ground to suit. Union Park kept on for third at Thurles in December and that run looks better now as the fourth and fifth in that race have both won this month. A bad blunder at the penultimate fence cost Pennywell Girl the lead over a similar trip at this track last month. She ultimately came home third and can build upon that. Joeswayornoway is capable of getting involved. This is effectively a drop in class for Priory Park, but he hasn't shown much of a spark recently. A market move would be interesting, though.

GLOBAL ASSEMBLY looks to be another useful hunter chaser from David Christie's supply line. He has won two of his last three point-to-points in Belclare and Kirkistown and, in the other one, he was beaten into second by a horse who was a former Grade 1 winner on the track. War Call was well backed at Limerick last month, but fell at the ninth fence when holding a healthy lead. A hood is now deployed. Johngus finished second behind the clear winner of that race and has solid claims here. Sizing Diamond was a smooth winner of a Necarne point-to-point and could get involved. Wearelongterm was only beaten a neck into second by Global Assembly at Kirkistown. He was a bit disappointing on his next start 'between the flags', though, when a beaten favourite in third. Cheekpieces are reached for.
