Runner-up on her last two starts, KIM WEXLER has to merit the utmost respect given she was just denied by a head last time out over this trip at Wolverhampton. A 2lb rise for that run looks unlikely to stop her having a say in proceedings, but recent C&D winner Murbih can give her most to think about now rated 5lb higher for his last win. Idoapologise arrives following a decent third at Newcastle last Thursday and completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Kim Wexler 2nd Murbih 3rd Idoapologise

Primo has now dropped to 4lb above his last winning mark and can progress further from a creditable fourth over this C&D last month, but MUNIFICENT secured a comfortable win at Wolverhampton on his most recent run last month and is fancied to follow up off 2lb higher. The Tron has been eased in class following a disappointing outing, also over C&D, earlier this month and is feared ahead of Mehmo.
Prediction : 1st Munificent 2nd Primo 3rd The Tron

Ladywantaway took a big step forward when landing a race of this nature at Newcastle earlier this month and she is expected to be thereabouts once more, but COLORS OF FREEDOM arrives on a hat-trick bid and shades the vote. Archie Watson's inmate went up 6lb from her penultimate to latest win, so a further 2lb rise looks unlikely to stop her securing a treble. Furnicoe has finished second behind the aforementioned pair on her last two outings, but still merits consideration.
Prediction : 1st Colors Of Freedom 2nd Ladywantaway 3rd Furnicoe

KIHAVAH has won under both codes of racing and is dangerous to underestimate on his return to the Flat. The six-year-old sets a good standard on the official ratings and, assuming he copes with the switch to a synthetic surface, top weight may be no barrier to him adding to his tally. Haku is an obvious contender and is highly respected in his bid to land a four-timer. However, he has gone up 17lb in the handicap and looks vulnerable as a result. Qaasid and Vega Sicilia complete the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Kihavah 2nd Haku 3rd Qaasid

BERKSHIRE BREEZE has a good opportunity to break his maiden and looks the one to side with despite an absence since last August. He sets a decent standard and is hard to oppose on these terms. Deadlock was a clear second to an improving individual on his racecourse bow over C&D 11 days ago and should be a lot wiser this time. Now Then Wendy looks the pick of the rest.
Prediction : 1st Berkshire Breeze 2nd Deadlock 3rd Now Then Wendy

The return to seven furlongs shouldn't be too much of an issue for the in-form WALKING ON CLOUDS and he is taken to register a third course success since mid-December. A 7lb higher mark obviously make things tougher and opens the door for the like of Biplane and Grey Belle, who look the pick of the opposition. The latter has run well over C&D before now and she may emerge as the main threat to the selection on this occasion.
Prediction : 1st Walking On Clouds 2nd Grey Belle 3rd Biplane

The drop back in trip worked like a treat for BOND BOY at Wolverhampton and now that the penny has dropped, Michael Appleby's charge must be capable of going in again, despite a 3lb rise. A narrow winner of his last two starts over C&D, Martin's Brig is bound to be in the reckoning again, as well as Crocodile Power, who has caught the eye on his most recent efforts.
Prediction : 1st Bond Boy 2nd Martins Brig 3rd Crocodile Power

FYLINGDALE's win here last week seemed to come from left field but she did so in decisive fashion and there is not much reason to suggest why she can't reproduce that form on this occasion, despite carrying a 5lb penalty. Catherine Chroi is a key player on the excellent form she has shown at Newcastle, whereas Bluebird will surely get off the mark at some point, having been placed on her last three starts.
Prediction : 1st Fylingdale 2nd Catherine Chroi 3rd Bluebird
