Steve Ryder is back with three tips from today's action.
14:30 Wolverhampton
This looks a competitive 0-65 handicap but preference goes to PYSANKA (best priced at 7/2) who makes his handicap debut in this race. The Mark Loughnane trained four-year-old ran well on his three starts in novice company including when outrunning odds of 40/1 to finish a close 2nd on his debut over 7f here in December.
Pysanka has finished 3rd and 4th on his next two starts at Southwell and Lingfield but looks suited by this step up in trip to a mile for the first time on his handicap debut. Both Mark and Billy Loughnane are in fantastic form currently and I expect him to prove hard to beat for in-form connections.
19:00 Kempton
Central Hall looks set to be sent off a short price once again but he looks worth taking on with the Rod Millman trained RUMNOTRED (best priced at 8/1). The four-year-old progressed from his first run at Southwell in December to finish a close 2nd nine days later over the same course and distance.
Rumnotred finished a close 2nd behind an 82 rated filly that day and he therefore looks overpriced against an odds on favourite who is only rated 75. He also faces Kingdom Come who is returning from a 496 day absence so he looks overpriced to at least finish in the frame.
20:00 Kempton
The Clive Cox trained MILLE MIGLIA (best priced at 8/1) won over this course and distance on her penultimate start and she looks overpriced off only a 3lb higher mark. The five-year-old won by ¾ length that day under John Fahy off a mark of 70 before finishing 3rd at Southwell off this mark of 73.
Mille Miglia was only beaten a length that day and now returns back to Kempton in this race so she looks well handicapped off this mark. Bookmakers are offering four places on this race and she looks hard to keep out of the frame.
