The way HECTOR JAVILEX asserted at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day was impressive and it is no surprise to see him handed an 8lb rise from the handicapper. He stayed on really strongly that day so this trip is only going to suit further and with Lilly Pinchin claiming a valuable 3lb once more I’m expecting him to take a lot of beating again. He was keen enough the last day so if he can drop his head in th early stages he should be capable of an even bigger performance.
The second Jet Of Magic had good form heading into that and the third Abuffalosoldier also looked promising winning at Newbury heading into that race so the form should work out in time. Lock’s Corner is chasing a hat-trick and he looks the biggest danger but is up another 4lb and this is definitely tougher being a Class 2. The Changing Man idled badly last time and was grabbed late but is also going the right way so should get competitive too.
